Chris Branham

I started Homestead Haven Foundation, Inc. because I’ve seen—around my own kitchen table—what steady love and practical support can do. As a foster parent to teenagers and a dad, I’ve spent many evenings listening, tutoring, and reminding young people that their story isn’t finished. Those moments convinced me our community needs more places where young adults can belong, learn, and launch.

My faith, shaped at Verdunville Church Of God, calls me to serve. At Homestead Haven, that looks like mentorship, life‑skills coaching, job readiness, and a dependable network of local partners.

Our goal is simple: give young people the tools and the team they need to step confidently into adulthood.

This work is personal to me. I want every young adult to know they matter, that someone will stand with them, and that “home” is more than a roof—it’s a foundation for the future.

Katherine Branham

My name is Katherine Branham, and I’m a devoted wife, mother, and educator from Logan, West Virginia. I’m blessed to share life with my husband, Christopher, and together we raise our wonderful family. Teaching is one of my greatest passions—I love helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and grow both academically and personally. As a wife and mother, I bring love, patience, and understanding into everything I do, whether it’s guiding my students or caring for my family. I also strive to become a stronger advocate for children in our community, working to create more opportunities for them to learn, thrive, and feel supported.
